Tree Swallow 1/6

Tree Swallow 1/6

At first I thought the parent Tree Swallow was feeding this juvenile, but after watching for awhile and observing the parent never had food and was actively trying to knock the young swallow off the branch, I came to the conclusion it was trying to get the young swallow to forage for insects on its own.

Unfortunately, I could not get the sun to my back, so there is too much shadow, but I liked the action.
