This Great Blue Heron caught and ate three snakes in the space of 15 minutes. This sequence is snakes two and three. It walked up to a distance of less than ten feet from to catch the third snake which it flew off with to eat at its leisure. Photograph 16 is essentially full frame, which shows how close it came.
