2:07 PM. Since bird activity dies down during the middle of the day, I took the time to eat lunch. Found a log and read my paper. A very nice couple from Seattle joined me and we had a nice chat.

About 2:00 headed back out in the opposite direction. Saw this turtle in the pond east of the boardwalk. Also several deer in the woods.
