An adult Pied-billed Grebe has caught a large fish which itself has just eaten a smaller fish. In the first two photos you can see the small fish barely sticking out of the mouth of the larger fish. In later photos the smaller fish slides farther out, until in the last two frames it has escaped. A good day for the small fish. A bad one for the larger fish.
